"Being a part of the Face of Beauty Pageant is an opportunity for me to showcase the values that our Samoan culture has instilled in me. Today in Samoa sharing is still a big part of our culture, for example neighbours share food no matter how small or little they have. This is what I encourage everyone to do, and regardless of the results I will continue to do because I believe sharing is what the world needs to do during these difficult times. As a young Polynesian woman, I’ve always been told that having a kind heart is what makes a woman beautiful. My experience working with young people in my church youth and schools in Samoa, has motivated me each day to shine the light on issues that affect not only our young people but society as a whole.
