Es el "Miss Colombia Universe". Se supone que se celebrase en Noviembre como tradicionalmente se realizaba, pero por las nuevas reglas de Miss Universo que dictan que sólo pueden tener una reina nacional electa a la vez durante el año en que se realice el certamen internacional, se trasladó el Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia al mes de Marzo.

PERO ESO ES TAN SOLO UN SIGNO DE ARROGANCIA POR PARTE DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DEL MISS MUNDO BRASIL, PUES YO PUEDO ENTENDER QUE AL MISS COLOMBIA SE LE CONSIDERE COMO EL CONCURSO NACIONAL DE BELLEZA DE LOS COLOMBIANOS YA QUE ES EL CERTAMEN MÁS IMPORTANTE DE ELLOS. SIN EMBARGO, EL MISS MUNDO BRASIL NI DE LEJOS ES EL PRINCIPAL CONCURSO DE BELLEZA DE MI PAÍS, ASÍ QUE LO DE "CONCURSO NACIONAL DE BELLEZA" LE QUEDA GRANDE.
