The newly launched Pinnaglakwan Festival in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, is the new face of the city and was celebrated for the very first time in March 2023.
The city is popular with various business owners who trade goods and products.
One of the highlights of the festival is the Carabao Parade, where local farmers dress up their Carabaos and parade them in the streets during the festival.
Urdaneta City has a well-known landmark of a GIANT CARABAO called "metamorphosis," which is made of BRONZE and looks similar to the city's OFFICIAL SEAL. The cold-cast bronze statue also portrays the city as "The cattle capital of the Philippines" and symbolizes the city's economic stability and community resilience.
The whole ensemble of the costume is a representation of Urdaneta's festivity and fast-growing economy.

Kambingan Festival is a town festivity celebrated annually on the founding anniversary of Tuy, Batangas.
“Goat-raising” is one of the primary sources of revenue for Tuynians. In light of this, Tuy’s elected mayor, Hon. Jose Jecerell Cerrado pushed for the holding of the “Kambingan Festival.” This is commemorated to highlight the various goods made from goats. 
The Kambingan Festival makes a grand appearance in this high-fashion number featuring a silhouette of digitally printed material embellished with intricate beadwork and metal craft. Opulent gold accents resembling goat horns adorn the shoulder and lower torso breathing animated life and representing Tuy, Batangas' cultural heritage that is the Kambingan Festival. Top to toe grandness personified, for the grandest pageant that is, this magnum opus by Joanne Mendoza takes you to an exhilarating journey of art, fashion and culture.

The Queen of Ylang-Ylang, adorned with a head-dress and a magnificent gown in shimmering gold, symbolizes the regal deity ruling over the Ylang-Ylang flower. The flower itself, with its captivating gold-green hue, represents the beauty and fortune associated with Ylang-Ylang. This ensemble not only pays tribute to the extraordinary generosity of the people, but also showcases their remarkable commitment to the abundance of GRAND opportunities in Tarlac Province!

MISS GRAND TANTANGAN, SOUTH COTABATO

“Kulitangtang Goddess”

The name of the Municipality of Tantangan was derived from an enormous legendary bell called "Kulitangtang" which was used by the ancient leaders of the place to gather the people of the community for meetings or celebrations. Today, Tantangan which is known as the Pottery Capital of the South is a thriving small town in South Cotabato which is home to the tri-people: the Christians, Muslims and Lumads.

The backdrop of this couture is inspired by the "swat" worn by a Tboli woman which is a wooden headpiece decorated with beads, feathers and mirrors. The headdress depicts the legendary bell of Tantangan. Over-all, it is a masterpiece that highlights not just our famous Tnalak cloth but the intricate craftmanship of beadworks and creativity of the people in the Land of the Dreamweavers.

This national costume pays tribute to the Kulitangtang Festival that celebrates the vibrant and diverse cultures in Tantangan that despite of its diversity, the people are working together to maintain its peace and harmony because they are woven by the values of respect, tolerance and love.
